How Green Am I ?

Good question. What else do i do? I also do what a lot of other people do, I recycle. My household recycles paper, tins, glass, plastic and cardboard . We also do home composting. We have a composting bin in the rear garden of our home, there are lots of things that can go in it to make great compost like used tea bags, egg shells, any vegetable peelings even paper. It makes great organic compost.
We also save water that would go down the drains from the gutters from the house. We have two water butts that can collect up to two hundred litres of rain water. I use this to water plants and also have used it to wash my car and even use it in my cars screen wash !
Obviously we use as little electricity in the house by using energy saving light bulbs, down to not keeping the fridge door open too long. It all helps.

Its good to be green.
